THE MEANING OF LIFE??????

Does anyone actually know the answer to this question?
I'm still trying to figure this out, for as i can see from the life experience i've had so far it just all seems to be a life full of unhappy people, wars, pain, tears and heartbreak!
Yes sure there is joy to but it's generally short lived before something or someone comes along to ruin it all!
If any of you have any theories on this then do have you your say and enlighten me!!!

Apologies for not blogging!!! Here is the catch up!!

Ok so i do admit it i'm not so good with keeping up with the blogging recently tut tut my bad and i do apologise to all those who do read my blog.
Lots of things have happened since last i blogged! I shall start from the begining there is alot so get yourself a cup of tea or a glass of wine whatever takes your fancy and enjoy the picture show.

On 23rd may 2008 it was Terri's prom along with her partner Dan they looked absolutley amazing. It really was a real highlight for me i'm such a proud Auntie and i still to this day can not believe that my gorgeous niece is almost 17 i can't understand it at all!

We then spent a day at Port Lympne Animal Park it was a wonderful day out with some amazing wildlife and most off all my favourite of the jungle the BIG CATS!!

We then spent a day Hever Castle the childhood home of Anne Bolyn.

Then there is my 30th birthday!!
It was also Kayleigh;s 10th birthday so we celebrated that with a cake at my party to.

As there is a lot of photo's to put on i shall just upload them all from each event otherwise i would be here all year but then again i probably should as my punishment he he.

Alot has happened in the last few months Stephanie has joined the Majorettes and is absolutley loving it and has picked it up really quick i can see that she will be just the best twirler.
James has become school prefect today I'm just so proud of all 3 of my children they have done so well.

You may also remember i promise to share with you the proffesional photographs of Sophie's first dance show and here they are, in the first one Sophie is a robin for her tap "rockin robin" routine, in the second one she is a ranger for her ballet "just can't wait to be king" routine. In both pictures she is at the back second from the right.

Snowtime in Spring??????

Well this morning when i woke this was the site that greeted me from my bedroom window!! I have to say i fell about laughing as to be fair it is suppose to be spring! But then i thought more of it and said to myself this is England why should today be any different from any other he he!!

So what to do other than to throw on our coats and head out to enjoy the snow as i like i say it's England and we don't know how long it's going to last for!!!

Once outside what to do?........... Other than to have the best snow fight we could and build a snowman of course!

If you look close enough you might just be able to see that as we had no carrotts Stephanie decided to put her glasses on him and

And also the famous snow angels courtsey of Stephanie.....

We had a fab time throwing snowballs and doing just crazy stuff! After all this fun and being soaking wet it was time to come in for a nice cup of tea and dry off!! We made the most of it because we all know that it is most possible that when wake tomorrow morning it just might not be there as we all know we live in ENGLAND and anything is possible...............

Sophie's time!!

Sophie for the last year has been taking tap and ballet lessons at the Splinters school of dance courtesy of Auntie Ann, and on the 3rd, 4th and 5th April the time had come for Sophie to take to the stage for her very first ever dance show!
The only words i have are really just how so very proud of my gorgeous daughter i am she danced like a true professional and danced with such pride and diva style! For those who know Sophie they would say this would be her normal self and they would be right.
I sadly have no pictures yet of the show or any of her in her outfits as we were not allowed to take photos in the theatre but once the professional ones come that i ordered through i will share them!
So the only ones i have at the moment are the ones i took before the show!

But i am so very very proud of Sophie she danced her heart out and put on a great show along with all the pupils and teachers of the school it's great to see such pride and wonderful smiles at the start, middle and end of it all especially the little ones who are of pre-school age they did so well!

Awww Memories!!!

Now as i'm sure you are all aware by now my darling and most gorgeous friend Marrisa and i have been friends for the longest time since summer 1995 and whilst finally getting around to sorting through my photos for them to be put in albums, i came across these wonderful memories of Marrisa and myself on one of her many trips down to my flat in London from Darlington.
On this trip it was for a special occasion for the christening of my hansom son James. It is with great pride that Marrisa is his godmother.

In the photo below i'm at Marrisa's house for the first of many trips. This trip has really strong memories for me as it was in this trip that i believe our beautiful strong friendship was set in stone and from this it was a case of i knew i had found the best friend i could ever ask for no matter the distance from our homes we were the closet in our hearts, even now that she is the other side of the world with her fabulous husband and stunning daughter our friendship is still as strong as it was.

My darling gorgeous friend i miss you everyday and you are always in my thoughts and you are always in my heart. We have made some wonderful memories in our past and although i don't see you i know that we are still making memories together with our families for our futures that we still will share. Distance has nothing on us babe because we are in each others hearts and our friendship will always be strong.

You've been my best friend forever,
and will always be together.
Through the laughs,
and through the tears.

Your there whether I need advise,
or just a simple pep talk.
You listen to me with all your heart,
and your always honest with me.

You help me up when I'm down.
You lifted me of the ground.
Your like a guardian angel to me,
I know you will always be here for me.

I can come to you with anything,
I can trust you with all my secrets.
You've been my best friend forever,
and will always be together!
"THANK YOU" for being my friend.

Stephanie's new life!!

Well it has been awhile hasn't it since i blogged so i should update you all as to what has been going on the last couple of months. Stephanie has now left Chatham south school and moved on to a new secondary school The Robert Napier School.

I decided that this would be the best move for her as she was not happy, since around last Easter Stephanie had changed into a child i did not recognise and one that i really didn't like much, her grades slipped along with her confidence my bright bubbly girl was not who she use to be! It took a long time to get out of her what was wrong and as to why she was not happy!

When she did finally tell me i found out that she was being bullied i was mortifed that some really nasty children could do this to my sweet girl who never did any harm to anyone she just wanted to learn and be liked but unfortunatly this was not meant to be.

After meetings with the school for some considerable months and one more physical assualt and one final row for me with her head of year i said enough is enough and took her out of the school! It amazes me their attitude towards bullying was appalling they just didn't seem to care, the only thing they seemed to care about was there stats and that they were loosing a straight A student and how that reflected on them!

Now that Stephanie has changed school she is happier than ever and back with her group of friends she grew up with and is back to her old self again. With glasses!!!!!

Doesn't she look adorable!!!!!!!!

Not much happening!!

Even though there is not much happening other than the usual daily routine of school runs and general day to day stuff i took some new photos of my gorgeous children, it's still surprises me even after 13years of being a mum just how quick kids can change and grow so we have to picture every moment of their live's now as quick and as often as you can.

Even me, i look at myself and say cor blimey girl your going to be 30 this year ( i do hate this idea mind you ) I'm not looking forward to getting another year older although i will be out celebrating it's a milestone in itself especially in my rollercoaster life!

The one child that shocks me the most is Stephanie, just how much can she change she turned 13 on new years eve just gone and i cannot understand where the time has gone one minute she was a gorgeous baby in my arms and now she is a gorgeous teenager where has the time gone? I'm confused and seriously feeling old now!

They have all changed in their own ways James hit that double figure of 10 now and with each day gets more hansome, Sophie has turned 6 and blimey don't we all know it he he, but still it's all gone so quick i miss them being babies so much, but i'm glad they are growing up to be indiviuals and with such different personalities. Sure they fight alot and and have their quarrels, but thankfully they are as close as any siblings can be and i'm so proud of them for being who they are. I just hope that this world we live in doesn't corrupt them to much i will do my hardest to make sure they don't that's for sure.

Christmas in North wales 2007!

This christmas i decided that the kids and me would spend it with my Mam and Dad in north wales being the first christmas in years that it has just been the kids and me i didn't feel i could spend it on my own.
So on the 20th of december we loaded up the car and drove to north wales, this is site we were greeted with when we arrived! We all was so chuffed to see this even at gone midnight and after a 41/2 hour journey Mam and Dad had done us proud.

This was what greeted us the following morning although being brisk and cold the skies were blue and gorgeous. A lovely fresh morning was just what we all needed after a long old journey.

Twas the night before christmas and all around the house was quiet and u could even hear a mouse or the cat Tottie, maybe even santa who knows the kids were out cold.

Christmas morning as you can imagine was hectic as any other house on this festive day, we had fun the kids were not up to early thank god! So i got busy with the camera and started snapping away and got caught myself, not a very pretty site in the morning oh well what the heck it's christmas snap away.

This is Sandra she came to stay for christmas, Sandra is one of mum's oldest friends we all call her Aunty Sandra she is fab!

So after a few strong coffees we woke up and the kids started opening their pressie's. Well just the ones from santa anyway, the rest were opened throughout the day just before the gorgeous christmas dinner that my Dad cooked and then the last of them after dinner. My Gran also came to spend christmas day with us it was an absolutly wonderful day with the family together.

We had a wonderful time at Mam and Dad's it's was the christmas i needed after such an awful year.
SO HERE IS TO THE NEXT ONE LETS HOPE IT'S BETTER FOR ALL OF US! HERE WE COME 2008 THE PALMER FAMILY ON THE LOOSE SO WATCH OUT!!!!!!
